FLU SHOT?!?!?!?!?!
http://www.comcast.net/articles/news-health/20081016/Flu.Shot.Fight/?cvqh=itn_flu
So they have made it "mandatory" to have children in daycare and pre-k get the flu shot in NJ. I am sooooo not happy about this. It's only Tyee that I would have to have get the shot but I do not know enough about the shot to say "sure poke my son with a needle full of stuff that could actually make him sick." My Dr doesn't even recommend the flu shot and didn't even have it available till just this month, ... and only made it available BECAUSE of the new law. I am doing some research to find out how I can get this waived. I just do not think it is neccesary to give Tyee or any of my children this shot. If they tell me Tyee can not go back to school because of it, then I for sure will be sending him to kindergarden next year and he will just have to do kindergarden for 2 years. (I was planning on having him stay in pre-k cuz he has such a late bday. cut off date is Oct. 1 and his bday is Sept. 27th) So any help on getting this shot waived would be greatly appriciated. He's all up to date for all his vax, I'm just mad about this new law mandating these children to flu shots!! They need to back up their reasons alot better than, "so we can reduce the risk of children getting sick." I do not go for that. And I will not be shooting my kids up with some stuff that they can't even say is completely totally safe. My children are not ginea pigs. What happened to parent's choice?!?! Taking away our freedom.

Oooops!
So I thought I'd post some pics. This is after Tyee's Halloween Birthday party, I walk in the kitchen to Luke helping himself to a piece of cake lol
He thought it was funny!!
We went pumpkin picking with my sister Michelle, Tina and their kids. Doesn't Luke look like a big boy!!
Their cousin Justin, these 2 are the troublemakers LOL
I tried to get a cute brother pic....
Kinda having a hard time getting everyone to have the perfect smile....
Then cousin Justin had to give cute Luke a kiss awwwwwThen it was ALLL OVER !!!! LOLWe went pumpkin picking with my sister Michelle, Tina and their kids. Doesn't Luke look like a big boy!!

Tyee loves to draw, I caught him sitting near a ditch just drawing pictures, it was so cute.
And last but not least!!! Can you read his shirt?
It says, "Ooops, They did it again...... (I'm gonna be a big brother!!)
So Yup, Luke is going to be a big brother in April!! We are so happy to be adding another one to our family! The boys are so excited to have another baby sibling, they're hoping it's a girl but I'm sure it's a boy lol!! Yes, we are crazy!! We are totally crazy about our children!!!

Cough, cough, cough, cough.......
So Tyee has had this nonstop dry cough for ummmmmm over a month now!! He's waking in the middle of the night from the coughing waking him up. I thought maybe it's allergies, but I'm thinking nope since I have given him Benedryl and Zyrtec and it doesn't seem to be doing a thing!! I just hope it's not asthma. I'm taking Jake and Tyee to an allergist soon (since Jake was having issues in the middle of the summer and it's coming back again) I blame it all on Jason... Yup! Cuz I don't have allergies, but he's allergic to pollen, cats, dust, mold,... you name it. but apparently not dogs???? go figure!! I just feel so bad listening to this nonstop cough. And the teachers keep making comments. I did take him to his pedi. but I had such a difficult time understanding him, which I usually don't. He's from China and has a very deep accent, he's a great Dr, but I felt really jipped this last appointment. He didn't even check Tyee out, I guess he figured it was an appointment for Luke, but I specifially told the receptionist that I needed to ask questions about Tyee. So I hope this specialist will be able to give me some answers, cuz I'm feeling like a horrible mother each time I pick him up from school and the teachers comment on how he's coughing allllll the time.

I've been slackin AGAIN!
I know I really need to update! I actually did about a month or so ago, I started downloading a bunch of pics and Blogger just didn't want to work for me that day, so then I slacked off and never got back to it! So a quick update...
Jake is loving full day kindergarten. He has such a sweet teacher! I was nervous about it being full day and him enjoying his sleep but it's been working out.
Tyee is enjoying pre-k. He loves his new teachers. He likes to draw new pics for them everyday.
Luke is 15 months now... I just can't believe how fast this last year went!! He FINALLY got 2 teeth, his upper teeth. After 14 months I didn't think he was ever going to get teeth lol. He had his first fall today where his teeth cut his lip and made it bleed... poor guy, but he's fine.
Other than being busy with the boys in school and Luke taking over the house, we haven't been up too much more. I will try to get on later and post some pics.

I hate it!!!
So I went to the lake with a few ladies and a few others showed up as well. We were sitting there talking about kids (obviously we all have kids). They all had both girls and boys except for me, with all boys and my friend with 2 girls. So someone makes a comment how the teen yrs for me will be soooo easy!! Why is that I ask, they say, "cuz with girls you have to make sure they don't do this or that and with boys... well.... let's just say boys will be boys!!" They laughed,... I didn't. Those kind of remarks bug me! And why? because of thinking like that will make it even harder for me to raise my boys with morals!! I turned around and said, "I don't know about that, my boys will be the ones respecting YOUR daughters and in this world, I've got my work cut out for myself".... with thinking like that! ARRRRRRRR!!!
Ok just had to get that off my chest ;)

Land of Make Believe
Jake had a field trip for preschool to The Land of Make Believe. Which has small rides for kids and a waterpark thats loads of fun. It was too cold for the waterpark but they sure enjoyed the rides. Luke got his first taste of Cotten Candy and of course I didn't get pictures but the face he made was priceless. He loved it! The little girl that is on the rides with Jake and Tyee is a girl in Jake's class, she says Jake is her boyfriend... Tyee says she is his girlfriend.... nuttin wrong with keeping it in family, is there LOL!! JK!!
Just some pictures
I Just wanted to add some pics of the kids, I finally got a chance to download some.

Oh yeah..
And do I dare post about Mother's day?? Ok so I got some adorable handmade magnets from Jake and Tyee and Jason made breakfast (though not in bed and not without me mentioning something ... I'm thinking next yr he might know better;) ok so I've only been a mom for 5 yrs right? he needs time to get into it right??.... um yeah whatever!) I also got a BIRTHDAY card with tickets for Jason, Jake, Tyee and I to go see Wizard of Oz at Pax Amicus. ( http://www.paxamicus.com/ ) Which I am stoked about going and that Jason is coming with us .. but... of course there's a but.... no mother's day card. I'm positive Jason felt bad for that but it's ok I still love him! My birthday was horrible, I had to take Jake to the dr for strep throat, all the while feeling like crap myself for I had strep throat too. But kudos for Jason for getting home sooner than expected!! AND with an ice cream cake... (that was really hard to enjoy with my throat BUT I'm enjoying it now.... YUMMMMMMMM!!!!)
May 14, 2008
So my sister Tina had her baby!!!! YAY!!! She had a cute baby girl with lots of black hair. She weighed 7 lbs 14 oz, 19 1/2 inches long. Tina had a rough delivery but she sure produced an adorable girl!! I am so excited to finally be able to buy PINK!! lol Her name is Samantha Lynn, we'll call her Sam or Sami. (I like Sami better presonally ;) She really does look like a Samantha! She was born with clubbed feet but the Drs are very positive that they can help her. She has the best Dr in NJ that will be working with her and most importantly wonderful parents that will be sure to provide the best possible care for her. (she is one lucky chick already!!! Wonderful parents AND an older brother/security guard ... LOL)

Six Flags!
So we ditched church on Sunday and went to Six Flags... we realize we're going to hell but we had a blast!!! LOL (no I don't really think we're going to hell;) My sister Teresa watched Luke for us and Waste Management paid for their employees and family AND paid for breakfast and lunch! Tyee was just so cute on the roller coasters and Jake was priceless on the Buckeneer ride. I think the kids had more fun than we did although it was tons of fun to see their reactions with the rides! I'd post pics but I haven't gotten them downloaded yet. I will as soon as I get them!
Other than that nothing much going on. Jake is playing soccer and loving it and hating it at the same time. Tyee can't wait to play soccer, and Luke is just being cute as usual! I realized the other day that Luke's one yr birthday is less than 2 months away!!! This past year went way too fast!!! I hope it starts slowing down!!

He's growing too FAST!!!
So Luke took his first steps yesterday! I can't believe he's going to be walking before he turns 1!! He also has this new game (well sorta new) and new word. Really his first word, I mean he says momma and dadda and mumbles stuff but he now will take things and drop them to the floor just to say "uh oh!" It really is cute!
Now if I can just get him taking his first steps on my camera!!

The end of the week.
Well Jason came home today. It's so nice to have him back! He said he had a nice trip and all went well. He says next time I should go too. Now if I can talk my sisters into taking at least Jake and Tyee. I told Jason that I think his mom loves me more than my mom and sisters all put together! She called me several times a day just to make sure I was ok. I don't think she realizes how much Jason works and that normally he's only home 2 nights during the week. So the only off night we had was Thursday and the boys were so excited that daddy was coming home the next day so no problems getting them to bed lol.
Other than that not much is going on. Still no lookers on the house. I've been doing a search of homes in the area and found if we went about 45 mins north, which would still be about a 20 min drive for Jason to work, we could get alot of house! BUT the schools are not nearly as good or nice as they are in the areas that we want to stay in and shopping is in NY, which I guess isn't bad it just seems so far from where we are now. Although I really wouldn't mind the distance it's the area I'm concerned with. We did find a house close to us that is an old 1820s farm house. It has orginal slate roof, orginal pumkin wide plank woodfloors, it is just gorgeous!!! We love it!! It has 3 bdrms, 1 & 1/2 bath, and potentail to make one room into another bedroom and add a bath in it. Of course we have to sell our house first which is looking gloomyer and gloomyer by the day. I trust that Heavenly Father is helping us in what we should or need to do so I'm really trying not to stress. I'm just being greedy and want more room.
Jake had his first soccer practice the other day and of course my batteries were dead in the camera, so no pics! I think he's going to enjoy soccer. He was totally nervous about going but since he has a friend on his team it helped him to warm up quick. Poor thing inherritated my shy genes.
Well that's all for this week! I told Jason I would help him clean offices tonight so I guess we should get the boys ready for my sisters!

Well some pics!
Ok, I've been reminded a few times!
I know I'm not very good at keeping up with this! I've been busy and just blah so I haven't updated in what almost 3 months!! Ok so what's been going on? Well as you all know Jason's dad passed away Jan. 10, 2008. The funeral went well, it was of course sad. It's been hard to see Jason's mom all alone but she's dealing pretty well. We celebrated Christmas the end of Jan with Jason's family and it really sucked not having Pop pop there. Just made me miss him and my dad more. Jason's dealing pretty good. I think having the Gospel in his life has made it easier for him to handle this. So we put our house up for sale on March 1st. Not one taker or looker! The market sucks but we thought we have nothing to lose. Other than that just been dealing with sick boys every other week or so. Seems this year we can not get healthy! Tyee has gotten the runs, puking, fevers, coughs, Jake same thing and poor baby Luke same thing. He had a double ear infection 5 weeks ago then got a stomache bug and was puking so of course stopped giving him the meds that he was just puking up and he has another ear infection now. Let's hope we can all stay healthy!!
So Jake is all registered for all day kindergarden next year!! I can not believe it!! I still feel like he is my little baby and here he is 5 yrs old!! He has a friend that lives down the street that is in his preschool class and she tells everyone he is her boyfriend (of course Tyee says she is HIS girlfriend.... there's gonna be some drama here lol!!!)
Tyee is regisitered for preschool next year. I'm in shock that I might have a few hours to be with Luke or alone if he's napping! I might just have to have another baby!!! lol
Luke is crawling and pulling himself up on everything!! I can't believe how this child has grown! He's so big! He's my earliest crawler, he started at 7 months and at 9 is walking by pushing those push toys!
Jason is doing well with work. His boss had to send someone from the office down to be trained and then come back with the info and train everyone in the office... his boss said Jason was the only responsible one to do it so he's going to Houston for a few days next week. Wish me luck being home alone! Then in another couple months he has to go back for training for the job he started back in Nov. That will be a 2 wk training... Thankfully they will let him come home over the weekend!
My mom is home from her mission. She came to MD for Steve's (her husband) daughters reception, so I drove down with the boys to visit, we had a good time.
We are so ready for spring... well at least I am! I really hate having such long winters and long cold months! I would move south in a heartbeat if Jason would!!! That'll never happen! Well I think I will post some pics. and a video or 2. Hopefully I will keep up with this and not fall so far behind again!!!
