Long time!

Wow it's been a while since I last blogged! I have so much to catch up on! Well today there was a white deer hanging around our yard all day long! It was amazing!

BOO!!

Tonight at dinner we were "BOO"ing Luke. He just thought it was the funniest thing ever and laughed everytime someone said BOO! Plus I got a new camera (Thanks Jason) and this one actually records sound! YAY!!! Anywa Luke was just so cute!

How do you get a baby to sleep??

Seriously!! I can not get this child to sleep for longer than 20 mins!!! and in those 20 mins it's just enough time for me to feed the other boys, dress them, and make them happy with each other.... how much do you think it would cost to hire a cleaning lady and a cook and a personal shopper?? oh and a part time nanny would be great too so I can take a shower and actually get dressed without being bombarded with BOYS!!!! ME time... whoever thought of me time has never had kids.....

I gave in....

So I finally gave in... I gave Luke some rice cereal. All that research about waiting till 6 months is best for their digestive system and blah blah blah ... couldn't wait. I figured look at all of us our parents were feeding us cereals at 2 weeks... we all came out fine (well most of us lol) and besides, don't those same "researchers" say that every baby is different? So Jake actually gave him his first bite, he loves it!!! He can't get enough of it!! It really has been helping him sleep through the night YAY!!! He's actually sleeping 5 hours straight now... Can't wait for the 7 hours! But really he has been a very good baby... a little bit of social anxiety (not sure where that came from lol) but I am just really enjoying him. So here are a couple pictures of him eating his first foods....

Halloween! Halloween!! Trick or Treat!!

The boys had so much fun Trick or treating! We went to Aunt Teresa's house and had pizza then Jason and I took all the kids out trick or treating, by the time we were done they had 3 bags full!!! Then we went to Jason's parents house, they did alittle bit of trick or treating there. Then headed home. Guess who's been eating most of the candy though;) yup me! Although I found a ton of candy wrappers in the garbage and asked Jake how did we end up with so much candy wrappers?!? His response.... Well I heard you say no Tyee no more candy so I ran in the dining room and hid and ate the candy I had in my hand so you couldn't see me lol!! At least he was honest right? KIDS!!! So here are a few pictures from Halloween. Jake was Obi One, Tyee was a skeleton (he says it like kelkin) and Luke was Chewbacca.

He got it!!

So Jason got the job!! He is so happy he got it! He wont be working as long hours, no Saturdays and he gets a truck and a gas card YAY!! I'm so happy for him, it will be such a nice change for him.

We had parent teacher conferences today for Jake, They said nice things about him. They said he is very quiet (is that really surprising???lol) He is definitly a lefty, he surprised them one day when they were trying to teach the children everyones names and they thought he was going to fall asleep, well he chimmed in and named all the kids in his class. They said he is a delight and a very good student. They asked how he is with having 2 younger brothers and I told them he just LOVES it!! Especially having a baby and then a playmate.. they weren't surprised, they could tell he is a great brother.

Tyee lately is enjoying Luke more and more. He always showed love towards Luke but just seems the past week or 2 he's just really been enjoying him and I have been enjoying watching that brotherly love. It's just so cute! Tyee loves to have me hold Luke like he's walking and have him "walk" to him, he always wants to hold him and he now thinks he can CARRY him. He's grabbed Luke right outta my hands and started to walk away half way dragging him, Luke doesn't cry.. he laughs!! It's just been so fun to see Tyee loving his baby brother, and to see Luke laugh and smile at his big brothers, Times like that I cherish.

What a weekend.. well not really

So today Jason was asked to be the 2nd counslor in the Young Men's at church. I'm not sure what this intails but I think he's happy about it. All he cared about today was watching the Red Sox play BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Unfortunatly I think they are winning. Jason had an interview for a manager position at work on Thursday and tomorrow we will find out if he gets the job (his boss has been telling him for months that it's his but... 3 other people applied and we dont wanna get our hopes up) So we are looking forward to tomorrow! Wish us luck!

The boys have been sleeping in their rooms for the past several nights now YAY!!! And Luke is officially sitting up! WOW! Other than that not much interesting happened this weekend, Jason worked all weekend....

Lukeybear

I can't believe Luke was 4 months on Tuesday! Man the time has flown! He is perfectly healthy, except for a heart murmer that suddenly showed up but not to worry, no EKG yet. He's HUGE!!! 17 lbs 6 oz, 26 inches. He's 1 lb bigger than Tyee and 2 bigger than Jake! Man I really make WHOLE milk lol. He's such a cute chunk. The Dr said he is doing things a 6-9 month old should. He's sitting up... not for too long but the other day he was for like a min.! Jake and Tyee didn't do that till 6 months. So he's growing like a weed! I've been thinking about giving him cereal but keep reading these articles to wait till 6 months. I gave the other kids cereal at 3-4 months. He no longer is sleeping through the night :( but since we cosleep its been working out great! and 2 nights in a row Jake and Tyee stayed in THEIR beds!! YAY lets hope that keeps up! So here's a pic of my little big guy sitting up.

An aunt again!!

YAY!!! I'm going to be an aunt again!! #15!! YAY!! Tina's pregnant with her2nd. I'm betting it's a girl. She had very little morning sickness with DJ and this time she's having morning and evening, blah! We need another girl, it's time:) Hopefully she doesn't go into preterm labor this time!!

Walking with Dinosaurs

Tyee got tickets to see Walking with Dinosaurs for his birthday, so Sat. we went to see it at Continental Airlines Arena. The boys had a BLAST!! I must say it was lots of fun! They were life like, very big! Jake's favorite part was when T-Rex came out, and Tyee's favorite part were the Raptors. I couldn't believe how expensive the souviners were!! Nothing for under $15 and even then it was just a couple things. We got lucky and Teresa offered to take Luke so we just had Jake and Tyee. Anyway I'm going to attempt to attach some pictures from that day.
